David, 天根 ヒカル

David, or Amane Hikaru of Rokkaku Chuu's 2nd year class, gained recognition as he defeated Hyoutei Gakuen's pre-regular players in a practice match. His impressive performance on the court has earned him a spot among the strongest members of his team, despite being a sophomore. Although David is highly dedicated to tennis off the court, he struggles to keep up with his doubles partner and senior, Kurobane, during their sparring sessions. While David enjoys making jokes and puns, they often fall flat when compared to Kurobane's sharp wit and quick thinking.
