In Fresh Pretty Cure!, Azukina is a tall squirrel-like fairy who appears in the second half of the series. She's Tartes fiancée and the princess of a neighboring kingdom. Their marriage has been arranged to unite the two kingdoms, but despite this, both Azukina and Tarte deeply care for each other and are committed to protecting one another. Unlike Tarte, who is short-haired with blue hair, Azukina has long pink hair and speaks in a dialect similar to Tarte's.
