Cindy is an orphan that Chris saves, resulting in her strong loyalty towards him. As a telepath, she serves as his translator and can understand what he and others are thinking. Despite appearing harsh and impolite to everyone except for Chris, particularly Juna, whom she believes cannot replace him. Cindy acknowledges having psychological problems that she attributes to being able to sense her mother's thoughts before she was born.
