Nigredo, ガイナン・クーカイ

Nigredo, also known as Gaignun Kukai, is the chairman of the Kukai Foundation and leader of a special organization based in Miltia. He was genetically altered to resemble Professor Dmitri Yuriev and considers himself brothers with Rubedo and Albedo, despite cloning now being considered taboo. Nigredo is legally adopted as Gaignun's son by Jr., who is also a member of the Foundation. Nigredo has black hair and deep green eyes and is known for his gentle personality and respect within the organization. He is listed as the first son and heir to industrialist Soze Kukai, but in reality, he is U.R.T.V. Unit #669, a biological weapon designed to combat U-DO. Nigredo has telepathic abilities and can hypnotically manipulate people with his voice. He also possesses telekinetic powers and can destroy objects with his mind. The Kukai surname was adopted by the Second Miltian government as a means of pooling their special operation funds, and following the Miltian Conflict and Helmers rescue of Gaignun and Jr., they took on this name to establish the Kukai Foundation. Nigredo's cat, named Gaignun, is the origin of his alias.
