Albedo Piazzolla was an artificial intelligence (U.R.T.V.) created by Dmitri Yuriev to combat a mysterious wavefront existence known as U-DO. Unlike his conjoined twin Rubedo, who stopped aging and remained uninjured, Albedo became immortal after being saved from certain death during the girls Encephalon jump. This event left him mentally unhinged, causing him to disappear. Despite hating Sakura Mizrahi, who had sacrificed herself to save him, Albedo felt guilty over her sacrifice and became obsessed with reuniting with Rubedo, whom he irrationally believed hadn't gotten over losing him to his madness. After kidnapping MOMO to access the Y-Data within her database, Albedo shot himself in the head with a laser blaster, only for his head to grow back.
