Shigeo, a teenager, received an offer for a parakeet with Yūichi Shibatas soul inside it but declined because of its curse. Later, Chad saved him from being crushed by an enormous steel beam. Afterward, Shigeo was seen with his friend Harutoki and Chad while on their way to eat something. He stated that if he didn't get anything to eat, he would die. Once again, Chad rescued him when they were attacked by a Hollow. Shigeo often carries a guitar case, suggesting that he may be a musician.
