In the story, Dortin serves as the voice of reason during his and Volkans quests. Despite being somewhat of a nerd, he is kind-hearted and knowledgeable. However, when Volkan makes mistakes, Dortin tries to explain that he had no involvement in Volkans plans, but ultimately, both he and Orphen become victims of Orphhens magical attacks.
