Makoto Isshiki is a Mulian who works for TERRA. Despite being cloned with the DNA of Ernst von Bähbem, he struggles with feelings of inferiority due to his D-ranked status as a child at the Bahbem Institute. Although he possessed abilities beyond what was typical of a D type, he failed to recognize appreciation from others and allowed his "D" rating to hold him back. As a result, Makoto feels the need to continually prove himself. Additionally, he exhibits an overly haughty and arrogant demeanor, showing disdain towards Ayato.
