Lala is an exchange student from Mexico who enjoys practicing "Lucha Libre" wrestling. She belongs to the same club as Ichijou, whom she sees as a rival. When they meet, Lala often shouts "Ichijou!" in frustration. Lala has a negative association with Ichijous name because her mother, who abandoned her and her father when she was young, was also named Karen. She dislikes Imadori, especially after he groped her chest while choking her. As a result, Lala tends to beat him up whenever she sees him after sufficient provocation. Lala works at the same fast food restaurant as Ichijo, where customers are afraid to go near her counter due to her violent temper. She even grabs and drags customers who annoy her inside for a beating. Lalas closest friends are Harry Mackenzie and Masakazu Tougou, who look out for her. Eventually, Lalas animosity towards Ichijo softens. In contrast to Ichijou, Lala is tall, well-endowed, sour-faced, hot-tempered, and easily provoked.
