The coach for Team Satomi is Andrei. He employs a unique approach to coaching known as "zen," which involves minimal intervention and motivating the team with cryptic comments and directives. Despite his past being shrouded in mystery, it appears that he has connections with or may be Rocket G due to a promise made to Takeshi. In reality, Andrei is the Rocket himself and used to race alongside Sir Hamgra of Team Velshtein prior to joining Satomi. After Amy's injury during their match against White Snow, Andrei takes her place on the team as a midfielder. Despite being out of practice, he performs admirably in races against Velshtein and Skylark. While his coaching style is peaceful, Andrei has been known to employ questionable tactics on the field, such as intentionally crashing into and destroying two of Velshteins mechs during their speed round race to ensure Satomi's victory. It was recently revealed that he had a daughter and wife but they left him. However, his positive lifestyle as a coach has led them to return and live with him once more.
