Daichi, a mischievous student at himekos school, meets himeko by chance while she was on her way to give hasekura-senpai a good luck charm. initially reserved, daichi begins teasing himeko due to her tomboyish behavior. as they spend more time together, they become friends. during their friendship, daichi discovers himeko's secret about the ribbon and pokota. the king and queen make an exception for daichi, allowing him to travel with himeko to the land of magic where he meets his counterpart camille.
