Admiral Legrange served as a vice admiral and commander of the 11th Fleet in the Alliance. He supported the National Salvation Military Councils' coup against the government and led his fleet into combat with Yang Wen-li, who aimed to restore the previous regime. Despite being outmatched by Yang, Legrange ultimately took his own life when it became clear that the battle was lost.
