The queen of the Wu Kingdom in Shin Koihime Musō is the eldest sister of the Son Family and leader of the Wu faction. She first appeared in the anime version, but originally she was set to appear in the visual novel. In both versions, she is known for her love and care towards her subordinates and sisters, as well as being ruthless in battle against her enemies. To fulfill her late mother's wish of unifying the country, she led her kingdom into a long war. Despite criticism of her methods, she takes responsibility for her actions since she would rather have blood on her hands than see her family suffer like she did. In the anime version, she hopes to abdicate in favor of her sister Sonken and retire with her lover Shuyu after fulfilling her mother's wishes. However, in the visual novel version, she is assassinated prior to a battle against forces from the Gi kingdom, causing confusion among the Go faction about who was responsible for her death.
