Initially, he believed that Mamis supernatural abilities were his own, which caused him great distress when he learned the truth. However, after discovering the truth, he supported Mami in developing her powers. Despite being a genius, he struggles with amateur baseball and relies on Mami to help his team at times. He frequently creates excuses for Mami whenever she faces trouble with her parents. He has an intimate understanding of Mami and consistently supports her.
