The Indigo Pacifier holder is a member of the elite assassination team, Varia. He possesses half of the Ring of Mist and battles Chrome in Namimori High's gym. Despite almost defeating Chrome, he loses to Mukuro once Chrome takes possession of his body. In the Future arc, it is said that he has passed away. Before his battle, Reborn and Colonello had doubts about him being an Arcobaleno. To prove himself, he reveals his sealed Pacifier and claims to have been trying to break the curse. Through extensive research, he creates a chain capable of concealing the power of Arcobaleno pacifiers as well as Vongola Rings. He has the unique ability to locate someone by sneezing into paper; the spit or mucus that adheres to the paper reveals a map leading to the desired person. Like Mukuro, he can create illusions. His real name is Viper and he has a black frog named Phantasma on his head. He embodies the sin of Greed, representing Mammon, the false god of riches and avarice in Biblical literature.
