Marco Pagot was an Italian Air Force fighter pilot during World War I, renowned for his skills as a pilot. After being cursed to appear like a pig, he became known as Porco Rosso, the "Red Pig." Now, Porco operates as a bounty hunter in the Adriatic Sea, hunting down air pirates with his distinctive red sea plane. The crest on his plane is that of Geneva, his hometown and where he remains a republican.
