In the narrative, Shafu serves as Romina's assistant. At 18 years old, she has an appearance similar to a maid. Initially, she was skeptical about Joe being considered for a ninja candidate. Despite this, she is characterized by her kindness, empathy, and understanding nature. Eventually, she develops feelings towards Mike that are reciprocated.
