In the World Tournament, Yamu is paired with Spopovich and given the mission to collect energy for Babidi, an evil wizard who seeks to awaken Majin Buu. After completing their task, Babidi kills Spopovich, causing Yamu to attempt a failed escape. He is ultimately killed by Pui Pui, one of Babidis head cronies.
