In his second year at Akikawa Academy, Shunshin, originally from Taiwan, excelled as the star pitcher of the baseball team. He transferred to Japan for language exchange program. His exceptional ball control earned him recognition even by Miyuki who thought he and Shunshin would make an excellent battery pairing.
