Curly Dadan is an acquaintance of Monkey D. Garps and the adoptive mother of Portgas D. Ace and Luffy. Garp entrusted her with taking care of Portgas D. Ace shortly after his birth, and later left Luffy in her care as well. She resides on Mt. Corvo near Windmill Village and is the head of the Dadan family, which makes her a wanted criminal. The first mention of her name was by Mayor Woop Slap after seeing Luffys new bounty and questioning if she knew about it.
