Tobe  

Tobe is a 14-year-old ninja who is the arch-enemy of Garu, another ninja like him. Despite his efforts, Tobe has rarely been able to defeat Garu or Pucca. He frequently mentions Garu's ancestors in an attempt to seek vengeance against him for some reason that remains unclear. In the television series, he often makes melodramatic and ridiculous statements, such as "The fly is walking right into my weblike... mousetrap." Although Tobe and Garu may have respected each other as friends after being stuck together, Tobe quickly reverted back to his evil ways. Defeating Garu is Tobe's ultimate goal in life. In Prince Not So Charming, when he mistakenly believes Lazlo Gozalotovish to be Garu, Tobe claims it to be the most glorious day of his life before realizing that there was nothing left for him to do. Tobe has an X-shaped scar between his eyes and usually wears a ninja mask with a samurai ponytail when not wearing it. He is accompanied by inept minions who often eliminate themselves due to misinterpretation of commands or sheer stupidity, causing Tobe great annoyance. His minions are rarely unmasked, even when they sleep. In "Ching It On," Tobe appears as a background character for the first time.
