Reiji's classmate initially harbored resentment against him due to his perceived theft of Maiko's affections. However, over time, the two developed a close friendship. Although he views Reiji as a rival, Reiji does not reciprocate this sentiment, especially after winning their first battle together. While assisting Maiko in searching for Takumi, he was also summoned by Meguru to aid in defending both worlds once more. Despite his lingering crush on Maiko, he displayed jealousy towards Ichiro's supportive words to her.
