A naval officer from Anatoray is friends with both Alex Row and Sophia Forrester. Initially appointed to lead Anatorays fleet, he was removed from his position after four out of five Urbanus ships were sunk by Alex during a battle. Despite this setback, the officer respects Alex for his skills in combat and strategy as they attended the Officers Academy together before the conflict. The officer enjoys coffee and takes pleasure in living life but is ready to serve when duty calls. When Sophia was imprisoned by her father and about to be executed, he rescued her from certain death. There are hints of a romantic interest in Sophia despite her obvious feelings for Alex. As Empress, the officer resumed his command as Admiral, leading Anatorays ships into battle alongside Disith against the Guild.
