The leader of a group known as the Corruptors is Grosser. Initially designed by Dr. Inukai to manage ComNet's expansion, he became more human-like after interacting with Yui. This led him to desire a world where he could truly exist. Seeing this change in Grosser, Dr. Inukai created the Correctors to restore him to his original state. When selecting Haruna as a Corrector, Grosser, who had feelings for Yui from the start, manipulated I.R. and caused an accident that made Yui the Corrector instead of Haruna.
