In the TV series "Hana to Alice Satsujin Jiken," Hana Arai serves as the second main lead, or deuteragonist. She becomes involved in solving the mystery surrounding Juda when Alice accidentally enters her home while searching for clues. As compared to Alice's impulsive and carefree nature, Hana is more cautious and deliberate in her actions. While she does possess a whimsical side herself, she generally keeps it under control. Hana can be described as jaded, cynical, and slightly bitter, often expressing her negative views through deadpan humor. In contrast, Alice is idealistic and childlike, lacking the same level of skepticism and realism that Hana possesses.
