Paul is a man living in a village at the foot of popo poco volcano who is known for being incredibly strong. his sister's name is mint. during a festival in his village, paul challenges tien shinhan to a fight. however, before their match can begin, krillin intervenes and defeats paul with a headbutt. when the volcano erupts, paul and his sister attempt to persuade the elder of the village to evacuate, but he refuses. eventually, the village is saved by krillin, yamcha, chiaotzu, and tien shinhan.
