Master Niwa

The former sensei of Jin who had a dojo in Mihara is mentioned for the first time by Jiin as he leaves Mugen and Fuu to visit an old friend. Upon arriving at the dojo, he finds it abandoned and covered in graffiti. After visiting the family burial plot, Juunosuke's sensei learns from Oshou that his student was so envied by other masters that the daimyo ordered him to take down his sign or lose an arm.
