Kodoh was once considered a villain but has since chosen to align himself with Hittos side rather than work for Saionji. In an episode, he pays Nana a compliment. When it's time for them to search for the 7 legendary b-ders and thwart Saionjis plans of world domination, Kodoh consistently appears just as they are about to be defeated. Additionally, one of the 7 legendary b-ders is Kodoh himself, which comes as a surprise to the others.
