Melmo received a bottle of candy from god, which had two distinct colors - blue and red. consuming the blue candy transformed her into an adult version of herself at age 19, while the red candy returned her to her childhood state. combining both resulted in her transforming first into a fetus and then into an animal of her choice. as melmo aged from 9 to 19, her clothing didn't grow with her, leading to either shredded or skin-tight children's clothes on the body of an adult woman. melmo is a compassionate young girl who often struggles between her actual age and the desires she experiences as her older self. the 19-year-old version of melmo is strikingly beautiful, frequently capturing the hearts of men.
