Daba steals a ship on Koam, where he meets Leccee. They fall in love, leading Leccee to defect from the military and join him. Although skilled and experienced, Leccee often clashes with Amu over their shared feelings for Daba. Eventually, Leccee becomes disillusioned with the rebels' progress and leaves them to become a member of Amandara Kamandaras private army. However, she eventually returns as the captain of the space shuttle Whale, rejoining the rebellion against her former ally.
