Despite Inoue's animosity towards Hanasaki after his kidnapping, she maintains a friendly relationship with him. It turns out that she has completed her college education by skipping several grades and is comfortable in her home life because she lacks any "dark history." She pays her taxes without issue and enjoys both her reclusive lifestyle and her detective work.
