Heiji (heイジ) is a shinobi from amegakure who served as kandachi's right-hand man under hanzō's regime. despite being a subordinate in hanzō's army, he was known for his skills and abilities. unfortunately, during the fourth shinobi world war, heiji was killed within the walls of amegakure. however, kabuto yakushi accidentally reincarnated him as one of his weaker assets. later, kabuto deployed heiji in an attempt to unseal his stronger pawns. during a scuffle between kabutos weaker pawns and the allied shinobi forces, heiji created a smokescreen diversion so that some reincarnated shinobi could escape. afterwards, he was cornered by the fourth division and sealed. when the impure world reincarnation technique was canceled, his soul returned to the afterlife.
