Momoji Sohma's younger sister is Momo Sohma. Unlike her older brother, she does not possess the vengeful spirit of the Zodiac that curses him. After Momiji was erased from their mother's memory, Momiji's parents had a daughter named Momo. To avoid destroying his newfound happiness, their father forbade Momiji from interacting with Momo. Despite this, Momo is intrigued by Momiji and tries to learn more about him. She notices a striking resemblance between Momiji and their mother, who denies it. When Momo catches Tohru trying to sneak into the Sohma complex, she shows him a secret entrance. She asks Tohru to ask Momiji if he would like to be her older brother. It turns out that Momoji had started learning how to play the violin, and their father asked Momiji to quit so that they wouldn't have the same teacher. This meant that they couldn't play music together, which was disappointing for Momo. However, she hoped that if she learned how to play, they could eventually play together. When Tohru tells Momoji about Momo's desire to be his older sister, he breaks into tears of joy. Momo is often referred to as "cute" by her elder brother and stays close to their mother, like a baby chick.
