The leader of the Inglessa Militias Jalopy Squad is named Joseph. He belongs to an ethnic minority that faces persecution in Adeska and left his homeland for a reason. His primary responsibility on the excavation team is piloting the FLAT-L06D FLAT, which he does bravely. Despite being reserved and taciturn, Joseph quickly forms a romantic relationship with Fran Doll.
