Alice's grandmother helped Darkrai when it was injured, making her the first human to show kindness to the creature. This act of compassion led Darkrai to believe that Alice was Alicia, and it became protective of her. Alice taught Alicia the song "Oración," which has a calming effect on any Pokémon. Additionally, there was a special song disc that could be played on the Space-Time towers' chimes, which stopped Dialga and Palkias from fighting. In the middle of the Space-Time towers stands a sculpture of Alicia, playing her song while many Pokémon gather around to listen.
