Fujou High has a Japanese Classics teacher named Kenji Kazama, who is known for being special because of his connection with him. Despite being a delinquent, he attends his classes due to this personal bond. He's relaxed and allows his students to get away with many things, making excuses as needed to let them finish what they were doing. His classmates and Takao highly regard him as an excellent teacher.

In the past, the Kazama Party was at the top department stores roof when a fire suddenly started downstairs. Shaun Konekone suddenly appeared with a rope which allowed them to climb safely down from the roof thus saving their lives. However, Kenji Kazama didnt want to owe this old fart his life, so Shaun told him that hell pay off his debt to him if he promises to help anyone he sees in the need of help, just as he did for him. He is a parody of the real-life actor Sean Connery with elements of Indiana Jones, and supposedly wields the "Dandy" element.
