Orphen's main adversary for most of the anime is Hartia, who believes that Childman isn't an enemy and attempts to convince him as such. However, despite this, Azalie's primary antagonist remains Orphen, as he feels responsible for her tragic fate and aims to restore her using the three talismans. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when Azalie uses white magic to possess his body, leaving Childman's soul trapped in the Bloody August.
