Kinoshita was a member of the Black Knights and served as their Sub-Commander. He was known for being loyal and capable in command. However, during the Assault on the Geass Order, he had doubts about whether it was right to follow Zero's orders to destroy all members of the Geass Order. Before his death, he passed on all information regarding Zero to Asahina, who was already suspicious of his covert activities.
