Merc

Merc, also known as "Merc-kun" in Japanese, is often associated with the platoon's messenger dog. He has a tendency to bite people's heads, which led him to be demoted from Corporal to Courier Private First Class after biting an officer in Episode 1. Merc is known for his speed, reliability, and sensitivity to his teammates' emotions. His reaction to Major Connery, an unpleasant officer, resulted in the incident mentioned earlier. Merc resembles a Labrador Retriever and is generally friendly with members of Section III. However, when necessary, he can show himself as a "military hound" and even disarm opponents.
