The cat demon who was originally intended to possess Yumeji as his vessel had an army of cats under his control within a field. John is known for being mysterious and enigmatic. He referred to himself as Chaser, someone who seeks the truth, and has a fascination with individuals like Yumeji and Merry. On occasion, he would assist Yumeji when he found himself in trouble.
