A young and talented prosecutor named Franziska has been working in Germany since her father, Manfred von Karma, raised her from a young age. She is known for being highly skilled in her field and has never lost a case up until now. Her work style is similar to her fathers - precise and focused on achieving perfection. However, unlike him, she can be quite smug and frustrated at times, especially when it comes to preserving her record. Despite speaking formally most of the time, she sometimes uses petty insults, often targeting "fool." For example, "Only a foolish fool from a land of fools could think something so foolishly foolish." Franziska is Manfred von Karma's daughter and was raised alongside her brother, Miles. She also has an older sister who is married with a child. The name "Franziska" may have been chosen to reflect the German influence in her fathers name. In the Japanese version of the game, Franziska was practicing law in America instead of Germany.
