Count Oppenheimer was an Imperial noble and admiral who served as head of the military police under Kaiser Friedrich IV. During the 797 UC Imperial Civil War, he supported the Lippstadt Alliance, stating later that his participation was not voluntary but necessary due to his familial ties with Wilhelm von Littenheim. After the conflict, Reinhard von Lohengramm intended to restore Oppenheimer's previous position; however, this plan fell through when Oppenheimer attempted to bribe him with an Erlemeier painting. As a result, Lohengramm had him arrested.
