As a member of the revered Hayasaka clan, which has faithfully served the Shinomis for many years, she has earned their trust. Assigned personally by her family to accompany Kaguya Shinomiya during her high school journey, Ai plays an integral role in Kaguyas life and has been present for over a decade. Due to their intimate bond, Ai is one of the select individuals who can witness Kaguyas genuine amiability, unlike others who may perceive it as an act. Although Ai exhibits maturity in her role as a valet, she still retains the youthful concerns of a young girl, such as fashion and socializing with friends, despite the limited time she has for herself owing to her responsibilities. Ai assists Kaguya in navigating the complexities of her emotions towards Shirogane.
