Nestor Messina was the leader of Disith's forces that invaded Anatoray. During a blizzard in Disith, he became unable to open his right hand. After Sophia ascended to the throne of Anatoray, she met with Nestor in an attempt to form an alliance and presented him with a lost peace treaty from ten years ago. Nestor verified Sophias sincerity and gave Anatoray a map of the Grand Stream as well as Exile's acoustic signature. Nestor was highly respected by his Anatoray counterparts, including Duke David Mad-thane, due to his understanding of chivalry and unwillingness to sacrifice his men in unnecessary battles.
