He demonstrates caution during the exam by avoiding dangerous actions like jumping off Split Mountain. Todo is highly opinionated and tends to be irritable when he encounters injustice or feels judged. He strongly believes that culinary skills are not necessary for becoming a hunter and considers gourmet hunters inferior to other types of hunters. Additionally, Todo has a vengeful streak and swears to avenge his humiliation at the hands of two gourmet hunter examiners.
