Hamaji Youhei is a high school freshman who leads an aimless life, spending most of his time lounging around. He struggles with academics and sports, and has difficulty committing to anything for extended periods. Additionally, he is a pervert who has been rejected by girls. However, everything changes when he joins the water polo club-though not entirely innocent in his motivations. As time goes on, he learns to appreciate the sport and especially the captain of the team, who manages to inspire him to break free from his old habits (despite remaining a pervert).
