Gigalt was an experienced astronaut who previously worked for Technora Corporations Debris Section before joining the Orbital Security Agency. He is known as Hachimakis EVA instructor and has a history of teaching others about space exploration. Unfortunately, he contracted cancer, likely due to his prolonged exposure to radiation from multiple EVA missions. Although Gigalt only appears in the anime, he was well-respected among his colleagues. He had a habit of giving nicknames to his work partners, including Hachimakis "Hachi" and Nono's "Artemis." Despite his illness, Gigalt remained positive and supportive towards those around him, even bestowing the nickname "Angel" on Ai Tanabe while she kept him company at Tranquility City Hospital.
