Lizabeth's grandfather is known as Ship and has made appearances only once - in Pokémon Ranger and Temple of the Sea. Unlike other family members, he does not perform in their acrobatic show but contributes significantly to its planning. Despite being older, Ship possesses remarkable strength, capable of rowing an entire canoe single-handedly. He has explored different parts of the world through his ship, The Blue Lagoon. Although his role is minor in the story, he assists Lizabeth with her submarine and appears in the manga series of the ninth movie's equivalent character.
