The Magician, パイカル

Pycal is a character who first appears in episode two of the original lupin iii tv series and later reappears in "the man they call a magician". he possesses scientific knowledge and magical abilities, including crafting himself a second-skin to avoid burn damage, flying, and shooting fire from his fingers. however, lupin and jigen initially prove that pycal's powers are nothing more than trickery. in the later series "lupin iii return of pycal", it is hinted that he possesses otherworldly abilities such as teleportation and telekinetic blocking of bullets. he first appeared in chapter seven of the original manga series, making him one of the few characters to appear in multiple incarnations of the series. his levitation trick is indirectly mentioned in "lupin iii mystery of mamo".
