Beluga J. from the manga series "Chronos Numbers," is a long-range attacker with Cerberus Units. He wields a bazooka named "Verethragna." In the anime adaptation of the same story, he is identical to his manga counterpart except for one key difference: it is not explicitly stated whether or not he survives the escape from the Apostles of the Stars' collapsing hideout. The last we see of him in the anime is an attempt to attack Creed alongside Naizer, but the camera pans away before showing the outcome of their battle. In the manga, however, it is clear that he dies helping Jenos and Naizer escape after a failed attempt on Creed's life due to Jenoss thoughtless intervention. During his fight with Shiki in the anime, Beluga J. engages in a wild battle, but realizes too late that his true target was not Creed, but rather the supporting walls of the castle. This leads to the building collapsing and the end of the story.
